In the 15th minute Mario Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prokopi Dzhelenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Severiano Bernat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prokopi Dzhelenski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Jonas Fernandez put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Filiberto Birjaio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Perrando in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Birjaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marquesado FC's Filiberto Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Fernandez in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Romeo Montae suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Severiano Bernat fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marquesado FC's protests and gave Severiano Bernat a yellow card for diving instead. Severiano Bernat hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Marquesado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Fernandez came free, but Filiberto Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Filiberto Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Jonas Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prokopi Dzhelenski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filiberto Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cajón played a much better game than Marquesado FC and deserved their victory. The Marquesado FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
