Spectators: 8148 (Terracing: 6112, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mario Markel kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Quezada in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Birjaio saved Marquesado FC from getting behind. When Mario Markel came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Marquesado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Markel couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Marquesado FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Birjaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Quezada. Paulino Quezada kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnaldo Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Birjaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Elpidio Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquesado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Guipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Otsando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Otsando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Markel in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Stars's Arnaldo Lorencio got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Elpidio Guipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Arnaldo Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Club Stars got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Lorencio. Elpidio Guipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Aquilino Otsando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquesado FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Elpidio Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aquilino Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Stars's Paulino Quezada got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marquesado FC's Filiberto Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Quezada in the 60th minute of play. Aquilino Otsando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Markel in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Markel in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filiberto Birjaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Quezada's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Mateo Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 75 played minutes Marquesado FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Bernat. Mateo Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Filiberto Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Paulino Quezada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marquesado FC's Filiberto Birjaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Paulino Quezada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Birjaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Filiberto Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Quezada took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Birjaio. Filiberto Birjaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 95th minute Mario Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Otsando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Quezada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filiberto Birjaio having to make a save. Elpidio Guipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Aquilino Otsando made a huge save.
