The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Theodore was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Locos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Octavio Paskal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 59 minutes into the game, Nereo Harkaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochinos de Monte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Central Normalista F. C. the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Cochinos de Monte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Harkaitz to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Evaristo Loco came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cochinos de Monte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Loco couldn't finish the play. In the 99th minute Benjamin Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
