VENADOS MERIDA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Belasko in the 32nd minute. Skill-Park FC's Benicio Vincent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Skill-Park FC from getting a goal against them. Daniel Illart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Benicio Vincent made a huge save. A collision led to Skill-Park FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Melchor Frances hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Ermano to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Daniel Illart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Vincent. Skill-Park FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Illart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 55th minute Daniel Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VENADOS MERIDA FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leonel Frances hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Skill-Park FC defense, Jesus Ermano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Vincent. The Skill-Park FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Vincent should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Matai in the 68th minute of play forced Skill-Park FC's goalkeeper Benicio Vincent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Daniel Illart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skill-Park FC's Benicio Vincent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jesus Ermano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Vincent was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Matai couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Jesus Ermano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benicio Vincent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. VENADOS MERIDA FC had played much better football throughout.
