Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Jeraldo started the match with the kick off. With 4 minutes on the clock, Romeo Nesto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Clasico XI a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Fernendo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Otamendi's Elias Fidensio. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Miguel Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Fidensio was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Otamendi's goalkeeper Elias Fidensio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Clasico XI booed when Otamendi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Juan Fernendo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Otamendi's Teofilo Jeraldo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Elias Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. David Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Otamendi's Bonifacio Napier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Beila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Perrando in the 33rd minute of play. Bonifacio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Perrando in the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Bonifacio Napier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Beila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bonifacio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jacobo Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Otamendi's Benito Perrando got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Saul Opilano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Otamendi's Elias Fidensio didn't even have to move. After 59 played minutes Otamendi got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Napier. A collision led to Otamendi getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benito Perrando hit a great ball. With his leg Elias Fidensio managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Clasico XI's Miguel Nel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute, Virgilio Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otamendi's Victorio Abascal got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Leobardo in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Federico Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otamendi and the Clasico XI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Nel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Victorio Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otamendi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Bonifacio Napier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clasico XI's Jacobo Beila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Jeraldo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Saul Opilano might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Fidensio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Opilano ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Nels short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Elias Fidensio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 85 minutes, Virgilio Gar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clasico XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Gar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Benito Perrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Beila. Clasico XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Perrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a little luck, Otamendi's Elias Fidensio got control of the ball when Miguel Nel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
