The audience was convinced that Danilo Estevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Abancens was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Real Madero's goal looked a bit too open when Nike Blanco came free, but Amador Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Real Madero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Abancens should have stopped the shot. After the first half Darkness FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Real Madero's Daniel Shantala managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Tabardillo in the 54 minute of the game. Real Madero's Amador Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Madero from getting a goal against them. Darkness FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
