One of Famatanca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clasico XI:s goal. Miguel Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Godfredo Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Famatanca got a freekick which was hit by Damian Ricart. Virgilio Gar took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Harriet. Godfredo Harriet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Herminio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Nel to make the kick off. Clasico XI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan Fernendo in the 55th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Eduardo Formerio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Godfredo Harriet made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Miguel Nel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Nel in the 60th minute of play forced Famatanca's goalkeeper Godfredo Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clasico XI's zone, Braulio Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Beila came out of the goal and Braulio Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Herminio Malvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Harriet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goalkeeper Godfredo Harriet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Nel. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Elias Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Famatanca's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Beila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Clasico XI booed when Famatanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goalkeeper Godfredo Harriet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Fernendo. After 85 played minutes Famatanca got a freekick which was hit by Damian Ricart. Godfredo Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Nel in the 87th minute. Osvaldo Toro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Opilano came free, but Godfredo Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Clasico XI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Famatanca.
