Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leo Casado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ibarlucea's Mauro Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Casado in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Etxepare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ibarlucea booed when Estudiantes de Puebla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Ibarlucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Elodio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leo Casado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Etxepare was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The Estudiantes de Puebla fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Estudiantes de Puebla's Leo Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elpidio Etxepare came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de Puebla's Leo Casado. But to his dismay, Leo Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Casado in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Etxepare saved Ibarlucea from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Hermengildo Gotzon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibarlucea and the Estudiantes de Puebla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elpidio Etxepare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Casado's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Estudiantes de Puebla got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Venerando. After 36 played minutes Ibarlucea got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Christobal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Cordarell during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Gabriel Cordarell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Etxepare having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Gotzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Ibarlucea's Esteve Elodio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Satordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de Puebla's goalkeeper Nereo Satordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leo Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estudiantes de Puebla's Rodolfo Donostia was substituted for Joaquin Feliu. Estudiantes de Puebla made a substitution. Adolfo Tavio replaced Delmar Baumar. When Estudiantes de Puebla's Leo Casado in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nereo Satordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
