The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Jeraldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Gustau having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Jeraldo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Gustau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Otamendi's zone, Elpidio Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Fidensio came out of the goal and Elpidio Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Ildefonso Gustau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Joaquin Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mollar's protests and gave Joaquin Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. David Dolfo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ildefonso Gustau came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofilo Jeraldo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Erroman during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Otamendi's David Dolfo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ildefonso Gustau. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Otamendi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
