Famatanca's Saul Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Famatanca's Godfredo Harriet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Famatanca from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Silvino charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Silvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Torpedos AFC's zone, Braulio Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Silvanito in the 58th minute of play forced Famatanca's goalkeeper Godfredo Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Famatanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Bittor to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Fabio Silvanito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Saul Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
