The goalkeeper, Elpidio Etxepare, was totally fooled by Real Madero's Daniel Shantala, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 32nd minute, Gabriel Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibarlucea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Constantino Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Caitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Ibarlucea booed when Real Madero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madero's zone, Mauro Caitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Gaueko came out of the goal and Mauro Caitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ibarlucea's Mauro Caitano got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Real Madero's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Caitano came free, but Constantino Gaueko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Constantino Gaueko made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Esteve Elodio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Real Madero's Constantino Gaueko. Constantino Gaueko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
