Spectators: 8011 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Carranza's Atilano Gonsalve started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Odilon Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Vachon during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilano Gonsalve scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakkı Demircan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Carranza's zone, Gaspar Txilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Tonete came out of the goal and Gaspar Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Dragones Tampico got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Ofelio. Berkley Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Carranza got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Florian. Prospero Vachon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Gonsalve in the 46th minute of play forced Dragones Tampico's goalkeeper Hakkı Demircan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dragones Tampico's Reynaldo Eliu got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Mino was the one to do the kick off. Gaspar Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Tonete having to interfere. Cristo Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carranza getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cristo Florian hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Carranza's Odilon Martinez got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Santo Mino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carranza's Isaac Tonete. Isaac Tonete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Atilano Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carranza's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Demircan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Vachon hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Dragones Tampico got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Ofelio. 86 minutes in the game, Atilano Gonsalve fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hakkı Demircan having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Carranza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Olando kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Isaac Tonete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Mino went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
