In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pellegrini's goalkeeper Marcelo Ferman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ruperto Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Salvino charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Salvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Doblas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Salvino. Ariel Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Pellegrini defense, Ramiro Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Ferman. The Pellegrini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Ferman should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Ferman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Salvino's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Feliciano Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Pellegrini's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Salvino came free, but Marcelo Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Ferman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias Berasko went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ruperto Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Romano having to interfere. A collision led to Doblas FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ramiro Salvino hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruperto Jokin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Delmiro Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doblas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Doblas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pellegrini's zone, Delmiro Colas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Ferman came out of the goal and Delmiro Colas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Aureo in the 75th minute of play forced Doblas FC's goalkeeper Ariel Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcelo Ferman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Pellegrini's Jonathan Basajaun made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Romano was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Colas in the 92nd minute of play forced Pellegrini's goalkeeper Marcelo Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Doblas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
