Mexico national FT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Alonzo Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. In the 30thth minute of the game Alonzo Cristofol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico national FT's Marcelo Remicio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes, Arsenio Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico national FT and the Hermosillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mexico national FT's Arsenio Etxepare got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alonzo Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boguslaw Wydrych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcelo Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Odilon was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 57th minute of the match. Alonzo Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Alonzo Cristofol notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Mexico national FT's Marcelo Remicio. Marcelo Remicio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico national FT's goalkeeper Marcelo Remicio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boguslaw Wydrych blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Remicio having to make a save. Alonzo Cristofol took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Remicio. Marcelo Remicio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Marcelo Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 92nd minute of the match. Alonzo Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcelo Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Cristofol got free with Marcelo Remicio in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Hermosillo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mexico national FT throughout the match.
