Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Gonsalvo started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Guadalajara defense, Fabian Frans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Galindo. The Guadalajara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Galindo should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the game, Fabian Frans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Guillermo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Fabian Frans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Galindo. Guadalajara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Frans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 18 minutes into the match, Edgard Cheche notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Valkyrians Football Club's Severino Estevon. Severino Estevon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Filippini in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Galindo saved Guadalajara from getting behind. After 28 minutes of play, Guadalajara's Igor Tolino made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Estevon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Frans got free with Guillermo Galindo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Estevon came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guadalajara's Edgard Cheche. But to his dismay, Edgard Cheche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The supporters of Valkyrians Football Club booed when Guadalajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Felix Larra from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Guillermo Galindo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Guillermo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Filippini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Frans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Igor Tolino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Estevon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Severino Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Tolino in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Valkyrians Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gonsalvo came free, but Severino Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Martin Gonsalvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Estevon. Valkyrians Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Gonsalvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. After 65 played minutes Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gauargi. 67 minutes into the game, Fabian Frans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-4. Guillermo Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Alvaro Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gerardo Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guadalajara's protests and gave Gerardo Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Lizbeth. In the 76th minute Fabian Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Estevon was a little too slow when Martin Gonsalvo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 7-5. Severino Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Fabian Frans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Galindo. Guadalajara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Frans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-5. When Martin Gonsalvo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guadalajara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Gonsalvo couldn't finish the play. Severino Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Dino in the 92nd minute of play. Guadalajara's Igor Tolino came free and shot a quick shot against goal 93 minutes in the game, fortunately Severino Estevon had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Valkyrians Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gonsalvo came free, but Severino Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valkyrians Football Club's Valentin Fonda got a free kick in the 95th minute.
