After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jeronimo Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mostoles Dux's Adan Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Jesco in the 11th minute of play. Jeronimo Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Eriz having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Javier Quirce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mostoles Dux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Espolón del Gallo the free kick. The supporters of El Espolón del Gallo booed when Mostoles Dux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Rodriguez during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Jeronimo Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Berriotxoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adan Eriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulino Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Heriberto in the 27th minute of play. Jeronimo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Adan Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geronimo Beti came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the El Espolón del Gallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Beti couldn't finish the play. Javier Quirce came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulino Bernat could save by the left post. Adan Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marteinn Palermo in the 38th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of El Espolón del Gallo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mostoles Dux:s goal. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Mostoles Dux. Pedro Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulino Bernat. 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Mostoles Dux's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Berriotxoa came free, but Adan Eriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Quirce was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. El Espolón del Gallo made a substitution. Esteve Ondino replaced Marteinn Palermo. Javier Quirce hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Geronimo Beti's late challenge caught a Mostoles Dux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Beti helped the player get up and apologised. Geronimo Beti hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mostoles Dux's Narciso Heriberto got a free kick in the 81st minute. Leon Marcones struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paulino Bernat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mostoles Dux. Geronimo Beti hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Leon Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Espolón del Gallo's Paulino Bernat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mostoles Dux's Leon Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Bernat having to interfere. When the match was over El Espolón del Gallo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mostoles Dux throughout the match.
