Spectators: 8482 (Terracing: 6363, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lázaro Emeterio got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Carapato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Egoi came free, but Arnulfo Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Mangueira hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Carapato FC's Arnulfo Erdiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Carapato FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Carapato FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amadeo Egoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Carapato FC's Lucas Poncio got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Ildefonso Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carapato FC and the Cacharí AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Carapato FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Julio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Anibal Abastas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnulfo Erdiano to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute Amadeo Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Anibal Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Pes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cacharí AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Narciso Pes hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes, Carapato FC's Fabricio Pinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omiros Salpiggidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carapato FC reached it. In the 39th minute, Basílio Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lázaro Emeterio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Carapato FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Emeterio couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Carapato FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Erdiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Mangueira. Basílio Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arnulfo Erdiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Egoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cacharí AFC's Basílio Mangueira in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carapato FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arnulfo Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Mangueira in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Amadeo Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Anibal Abastas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacharí AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Basílio Mangueira sped through Carapato FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Erdiano. 71 minutes into the match, Basílio Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Erdiano. Carapato FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 79 minutes into the game, Cacharí AFC's Basílio Mangueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Erdiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Carapato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Gorosti came free, but Arnulfo Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Amadeo Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carapato FC's Arnulfo Erdiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Egoi took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Erdiano. Arnulfo Erdiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Lázaro Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacharí AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
