The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Veremundo got free with Gunvald Barnholm in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehran Ämrahov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Medero having to make a save. Gunvald Barnholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Jerold in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Jokin in the 32nd minute of play forced AztecGold's goalkeeper Gunvald Barnholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salim De Clercq in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Medero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunvald Barnholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salim De Clercq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim De Clercq in the 37th minute of the match. Mehran Ämrahov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Medero having to make a save. Mehran Ämrahov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Medero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Adolfo Barea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mehran Ämrahov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Medero having to make a save. Ismael Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehran Ämrahov in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Salim De Clercqs short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Ismael Medero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Mehran Ämrahov put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Medero. If Mehran Ämrahov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AztecGold's Ahmid Delapierre was substituted for Ola Soysal. In the 71st minute of the match HACHITAS WC got a corner. AztecGold's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reynaldo Haritzeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Reynaldo Haritzeder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AztecGold's Gunvald Barnholm did a great save. AztecGold's Gunvald Barnholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Jokin in the 72nd minute of play. Gunvald Barnholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Veremundo in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Jerold in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunvald Barnholm saved AztecGold from getting behind. In the 81st minute of the match, Abel Urre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ismael Medero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mehran Ämrahov might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Medero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehran Ämrahov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the last second Ismael Medero throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mehran Ämrahov in the 87thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Abel Urres short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Ismael Medero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute of the match, Mehran Ämrahov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Medero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Jokin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunvald Barnholm was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
