After 16 minutes TIGRES FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Suarez who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Palmarcito FC's Arnulfo Frutos got control of the ball when Niceto Cugat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Cugat in the 36th minute of the match. Palmarcito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Lucas Faro scored to the left of an out of position Arnulfo Frutos, making the score, 2-0. Arnulfo Frutos came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by TIGRES FC's Ceferino Hartz. But to his dismay, Ceferino Hartz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Luís Suarez made the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Lucas Faro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arnulfo Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TIGRES FC fully deserved thier win.
