The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sementales FC's Isidro Damario got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ermegildo Barto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tadeo Quilo scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Barto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12th play minutes Jule Sylta shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Ermegildo Barto and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 17th minute, Fernando Claus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Barto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ermegildo Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jule Sylta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jule Sylta in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Filiberto Phelipe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Barto skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Jule Sylta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Roja Фк's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jule Sylta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Claus in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Leonel Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sementales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrella Roja Фк the free kick. In the 38th minute, Fernando Claus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Estrella Roja Фк got a freekick which was hit by Jule Sylta. 47 minutes into the game, Estrella Roja Фк's Jule Sylta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Barto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Estrella Roja Фк were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jule Sylta made the kick off in the second half. Maido Hindpere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match, Fernando Claus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Barto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute Fernando Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Sementales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Elia to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Jule Sylta put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Ermegildo Barto. Fernando Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ermegildo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Phelipe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sementales FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Placido Bertran hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Fernando Claus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonel Tercero hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Claus in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sementales FC's Faustino Eli was substituted for Placido Bertran. 91 minutes into the match, Sementales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Claus came free, but Ermegildo Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tino Horquizar kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Estrella Roja Фк's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
