The score was now 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Jesus Lobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie de Nooijer. Vampiros Aztecas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Thomas Verheydt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Thomas Verheydt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Castulo. The goal made the score 2-1. Freddie de Nooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Lobo in the 22nd minute of play. Alberto Di Massimo scored 2-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddie de Nooijer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Vampiros Aztecas's Aureliano Castulo threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Töpper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the match, CANIS LUPUS XTC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Verheydt came free, but Aureliano Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Castulo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Thomas Verheydt sent off a good shot on target. Vampiros Aztecas's Thomas Verheydt got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Castulo was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Thomas Verheydt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Verheydt really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Freddie de Nooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Arioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vampiros Aztecas made a substitution. Macedonio Fonticoba replaced Thomas Verheydt. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Di Massimo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Lobo in the 51st minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Freddie de Nooijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Di Massimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Freddie de Nooijer made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Macedonio Fonticoba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Aureliano Castulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddie de Nooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Lobo in the 57th minute of play. Freddie de Nooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Di Massimo in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Dé Töpper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Castulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Macedonio Fonticoba, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aureliano Castulo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 66 played minutes CANIS LUPUS XTC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Silviano. Vampiros Aztecas made a substitution. Hugo Hernandez replaced Romulo Resto. Atilano Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Macedonio Fonticoba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Castulo having to make a save. Aureliano Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 68th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Macedonio Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Castulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vampiros Aztecas fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Vampiros Aztecas's Macedonio Fonticoba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Freddie de Nooijer was a little too slow when Alberto Di Massimo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 5-4. The Vampiros Aztecas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
