The corner led Águilas Poblanas's Jedrzej Lampe to fire away a dangerous shot which Remigio Micael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Jacinto Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Flavio Savier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acereros FC and the Águilas Poblanas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Acereros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Plech in the 75th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Oswaldo Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 83rd minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Vitucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Remigio Micael made a huge save. Acereros FC made a substitution.
