Ciriaco Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Rosales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Urtzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jhalmar Peredes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Limones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Urtzi came free, but Danilo Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Orellana kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Marcelo Peña kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Jhalmar Peredes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Limones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Urtzi came free, but Danilo Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jhalmar Peredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Christian Rosales kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arnoldo Urtzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Limones FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marvin Escobar hit a great ball. Limones FC made a substitution. Nelson Salguero replaced Christian Rosales. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Urtzi in the 71st minute of play forced Limones FC's goalkeeper Danilo Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Limones FC's zone, Arnoldo Velis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Pacheco came out of the goal and Arnoldo Velis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naim Çakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Pacheco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Limones FC's Rafael Orellana got a free kick in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Salguero got free with Ciriaco Urtzi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chants of Limones FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Guanaja Islanders had held the ball for most of the match.
