Shawn Barraza might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Parada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shawn Barraza ran back to his position shaking his head. Shawn Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Parada having to interfere. Eraldo Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovani Escobar in the 14th minute. Shawn Barraza struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alexander Parada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowestoft City. Alexander Parada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Barraza in the 18th minute of play. Christian Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Shawn Barraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The corner led Lowestoft City's Nicolás Villacorta to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexander Parada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lowestoft City's Eraldo Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Zelaya in the 65th minute of play. When Nicolás Villacorta fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lowestoft City's protests and gave Nicolás Villacorta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lowestoft City getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nicolás Villacorta hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Lowestoft City got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Najarro. 74 minutes into the game, Burgess Hill City's Juan Zelaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eraldo Guerrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alexander Parada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Barraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute of the match Henry Carranza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Parada skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Burgess Hill City's zone, Pedro Zaldaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Parada came out of the goal and Pedro Zaldaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Burgess Hill City's Alexander Parada got control of the ball when Pedro Zaldaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Alferez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alexander Parada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Shawn Barraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burgess Hill City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
