Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Posadas started the match with the kick off. When Efrain Gamero came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Eastbourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Gamero couldn't finish the play. Efrain Gamero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Dagoberto Benavides had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Eastbourne's Efrain Gamero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Misael Quintanilla, made in the 16th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Efrain Gamero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ismael Messias to make any attempt to save it. Efrain Gamero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ismael Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frome AFC's Ismael Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Gamero in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rene Orobio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastbourne's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Orobio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Posadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leopoldo Posadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Gamero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ismael Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Posadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benji Renderos having to make a save. Rene Orobio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Gamero to strike the kick off in the second half. When Efrain Gamero came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Eastbourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Gamero couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Dagoberto Del Cid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Gamero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Gamero in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Messias saved Frome AFC from getting behind. 67 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Del Cid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ismael Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rene Orobio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Eastbourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Orobio couldn't finish the play. Efrain Gamero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ismael Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Gamero, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Efrain Gamero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Ismael Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Gamero in the 81st minute of play. Rolando Guevara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Gamero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Del Cid in the 85th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Efrain Gamero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Messias. Frome AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Gamero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
