Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Ismael Messias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Frome AFC's Leopoldo Posadas got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Shawn Barraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lowestoft City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Barraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Posadas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ismael Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Lowestoft City's Ovidio Alferez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Messias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Leopoldo Posadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Posadas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pedro Zaldaña struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ismael Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowestoft City. If Jairo Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Posadas in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Pedro Zaldaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lowestoft City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Posadas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Shawn Barraza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Messias. Frome AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shawn Barraza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shawn Barraza in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Messias saved Frome AFC from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Jairo Lozano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frome AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lowestoft City the free kick.
