Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Carranza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Carranza in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Parada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovani Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alexander Parada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Carranza in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Parada saved Burgess Hill City from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Eraldo Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Carranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Parada having to interfere. Shawn Padilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Carranza in the 20th minute of play forced Burgess Hill City's goalkeeper Alexander Parada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ironville's Shawn Padilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Zelaya in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Juan Zelaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burgess Hill City's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Zelaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shawn Padilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Olmedo's late challenge caught a Burgess Hill City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ironville's Mario Olmedo got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Juan Zelaya came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Burgess Hill City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Zelaya couldn't finish the play. Burgess Hill City's Alexander Parada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Villalobos in the 34th minute of play. Juan Zelaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Shawn Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Shawn Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Zelaya in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ironville defense, Giovani Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shawn Padilla. The Ironville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shawn Padilla should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Zelaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Benji Barraza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ironville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burgess Hill City the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Ironville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benji Barraza to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ironville's goalkeeper Shawn Padilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Padilla having to interfere. Shawn Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Escobar in the 62nd minute of play. Douglas Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Juan Zelaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Padilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Alfaro during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Ironville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Burgess Hill City. Paolo Paz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Shawn Padilla. 2-0. Juan Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Padilla having to interfere. If Douglas Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shawn Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Burgess Hill City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ironville for a fine match.
