Ismael Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhonnatan Batres in the 3rd minute of the match. Ismael Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhonnatan Batres in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frome AFC's goalkeeper Ismael Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Alberto Suarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frome AFC and the Burgess Hill City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Frome AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Suarez. After 20 played minutes, Burgess Hill City's Paolo Paz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burgess Hill City reached it. Jairo Lozano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Burgess Hill City's Giovani Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Messias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 31 played minutes Frome AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Lozano. If Juan Zelaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Leopoldo Posadas rounded Burgess Hill City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a rather tough play, Frome AFC's Alberto Suarez got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Burgess Hill City's Giovani Escobar got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Posadas to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Juan Zelaya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Messias. Juan Zelaya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Juan Zelaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Posadas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frome AFC's Adolfo Alferez got a free kick in the 75th minute. Juan Zelaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Ismael Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Zelaya in the 78th minute of play. Ismael Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Zelaya's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Juan Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Messias having to interfere. Ismael Messias made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Giovani Escobar sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Frome AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Zelaya came free, but Ismael Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Giovani Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 98th minute, Jhonnatan Batres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
