When Alejandro FC's Ernesto Arellano in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alberto Aguilar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Richard Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Douglas Cerna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hurworth's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 27th minute of the game, when Claudio Pineda after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Alejandro FC's goal. Claudio Pineda was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 30th play minute Baltazar Villalobos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Danilo Rivas. 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Baltazar Villalobos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Danilo Rivas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Alejandro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Suarez came free, but Danilo Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Hurworth's Baltazar Villalobos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Rivas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Lara in the 44th minute of play forced Hurworth's goalkeeper Alberto Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baltazar Villalobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Hurworth's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Lara came free, but Alberto Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Lara was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hurworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Villalobos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hurworth's Richard Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alejandro FC's goalkeeper Danilo Rivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Alejandro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Villalobos came free, but Danilo Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
