After a defensive mix-up in Alejandro FC's zone, Deris Galdamez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Rivas came out of the goal and Deris Galdamez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Ancheta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Jairo Ancheta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Isaac Lara sped through Nassington FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Larios. Jairo Hinguanzo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edgar Larios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Lara in the 60th minute of play. Amilcar Mena walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Ancheta in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Rivas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deris Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Rivas having to interfere.
