Benji Magaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Velis having to interfere. If Alejandro Sosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benji Magaña made a kick off. In the 55th minute Benji Magaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Velis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Bridgwater AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Torres came free, but Cristian Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristian Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Sosa scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexis Velis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Douglas Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bridgwater AFC booed when Totnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Espindola didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bridgwater AFC had won after a very even match.
