After having played for 3 minutes, Giovani Barraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aslan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovani Barraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovani Barraza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jairo Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Barraza in the 9th minute of the match. If Ulises Zepeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Agustin Guevara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aliança F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aslan FC the free kick. In the 21stth minute of the game Giovani Barraza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aliança F.C's Jairo Pineda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Aliança F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Juan Alas hit a great ball. Ulises Zepeda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Pineda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Giovani Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Pineda having to interfere. Aliança F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Giovani Barraza 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Aslan FC's Giovani Barraza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Pineda. Jairo Pineda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Aliança F.C's zone, Ulises Zepeda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Pineda came out of the goal and Ulises Zepeda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Giovani Barraza came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Aslan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Barraza couldn't finish the play. Ulises Zepeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Jhonnatan Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Pineda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jairo Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Zepeda in the 77th minute of the match. Jairo Pineda came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Aslan FC's Giovani Barraza. But to his dismay, Giovani Barraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 81 played minutes Aslan FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Díaz. After a defensive mix-up in Aliança F.C's zone, Ulises Zepeda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Pineda came out of the goal and Ulises Zepeda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Barraza in the 94th minute of play forced Aliança F.C's goalkeeper Jairo Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Aslan FC were the better team. Aslan FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
