Spectators: 6834 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Giovani Barraza got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Omar Navas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Olimpia defense, Ulises Zepeda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Lara. The Olimpia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Lara should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Díaz's late challenge caught a Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Díaz helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Aslan FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Díaz. 26 minutes into the match, Aslan FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Rodriguez. Isaac Rodriguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Amaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Giovani Barraza scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Omar Navas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gilberto Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia. When Isaac Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. Isaac Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Amaya having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Omar Navas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Navas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Amaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hugo Granados fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aslan FC's protests and gave Hugo Granados a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Navas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Amaya having to interfere. A collision led to Aslan FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hugo Granados hit a great ball. Isaac Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Olimpia's Patricio Lara got control of the ball when Ulises Zepeda tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovani Barraza in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Lara saved Olimpia from getting behind. A collision led to Olimpia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristian Santamaria hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Omar Navas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Zepeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Patricio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Aslan FC's Patricio Lara threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovani Barraza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Olimpia's Leopoldo Uranga got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ulises Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Aslan FC defense, Omar Navas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Amaya. The Aslan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Amaya should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aslan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
