The referee ignored Aliança F.C's protests and gave Claudio Leiva a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Leiva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arnoldo Rico, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Andrés Pedrozo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Pineda. Jairo Pineda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jairo Pineda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raúl Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jairo Pineda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Prado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Raúl Prado struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jairo Pineda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatwick FC. In the 37th minute, Aliança F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raúl Prado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Aliança F.C booed when Gatwick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Rico was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
