Misael Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gilberto Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Ulises Zepeda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wem's Edgardo Murgas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Misael Ocampo in the 31st minute of play forced Aslan FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Zepeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Murgas having to interfere. Ulises Zepeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edgardo Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Giovani Barraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Murgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Zepeda in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani Barraza to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Aslan FC booed when Wem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Zepeda scored 0-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Murgas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Zepeda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 59th playminute. Edgar Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ulises Zepeda took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Edgardo Murgas to make any attempt to save it. Edgardo Murgas made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ulises Zepeda sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Wem's Edgardo Murgas got control of the ball when Ulises Zepeda tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Odir Brizuela fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wem's protests and gave Odir Brizuela a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aslan FC booed when Wem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odir Brizuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Misael Ocampo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Wem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Misael Ocampo couldn't finish the play. Edgar Flores struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gilberto Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wem. Misael Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Wem supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aslan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Aslan FC.
