Gatwick FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kidmore End the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Gatwick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Kidmore End's Oswaldo Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Mena in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Kidmore End's Jhalmar Batres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Ventura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jhalmar Batres got free with Pedro Ventura in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edwin Coria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
