Kidmore End's Oswaldo Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jhalmar Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Murgas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Mena in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Kidmore End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelvin Corrales to maneuver through the defense. Kidmore End's Edwin Coria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Misael Ocampo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Jhalmar Batres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Murgas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jhalmar Batres might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Murgas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jhalmar Batres ran back to his position shaking his head. Jhalmar Batres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edgardo Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Kidmore End's Jhalmar Batres got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Isaac Victorino fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kidmore End's protests and gave Isaac Victorino a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Kidmore End's Edgardo Murgas threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oswaldo Mena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edgardo Murgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Victorino, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Benjamín Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kidmore End the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Wem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Wem's goalkeeper Edgardo Murgas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jhalmar Batres. Edgardo Murgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Mena in the 83rd minute of the match. When Benjamín Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Wem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamín Cruz couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Jhalmar Batres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Murgas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Mena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Mena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edgardo Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Benjamín Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kidmore End had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
