If Carmelo Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Fc Broncos's Erick Vasquez threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Barquero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benji Barquero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Redruth City's Carlos Orozco got a free kick in the 45th minute. Erick Vasquez was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Mauricio Villatoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Villatoro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Barquero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Januario Cerritos in the 56th minute really tested Edgardo Posadas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Barquero in the 57th minute of play forced Redruth City's goalkeeper Erick Vasquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Redruth City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Orozco to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Selvin Villatoro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Redruth City's Erick Vasquez didn't even have to move. Erick Vasquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Villatoro in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redruth City's goalkeeper Erick Vasquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erick Vasquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Villatoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mauricio Villatoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Broncos's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Villatoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erick Vasquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raúl Murgas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Posadas made a huge save. Agustin Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rene Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Posadas. Fc Broncos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Barquero couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Redruth City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Broncos.
