When Pocklington's Alfredo Vinosis in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Felipe Carrera's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Club Felipe Carrera getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Amilcar Contrera hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Mena got free with Daniel Reyes in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Felipe Carrera's Daniel Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Club Felipe Carrera from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Mena got free with Daniel Reyes in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronald Del Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Giron charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Giron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Club Felipe Carrera got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Giron. Daniel Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Vinosis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Pocklington booed when Club Felipe Carrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Giron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Club Felipe Carrera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fidel Mena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 30th match minute, Club Felipe Carrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amilcar Contrera to maneuver through the defense. Will Bermudez, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Félix Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Castro having to interfere. Fidel Mena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Pocklington's Alfredo Vinosis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Club Felipe Carrera booed when Pocklington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Vinosis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Vinosis, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Felipe Carrera's goalkeeper Daniel Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronald Del Cid struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edwin Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Felipe Carrera. 60 minutes into the game, Rony Alvarado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Felipe Carrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocklington the free kick. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alfredo Vinosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Daniel Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Felipe Carrera's Félix Rojas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Pocklington's Alfredo Vinosis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Andrés Huezo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocklington's protests and gave Andrés Huezo a yellow card for diving instead. Andrés Huezo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Edwin Castro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amilcar Contrera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Del Cid in the 93rd minute of play forced Pocklington's goalkeeper Edwin Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Ronald Del Cid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pocklington's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
