Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yasir Del Carmen made the kick off which started today's match. Alberto Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Patricio Peña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlow United's goalkeeper Mario Medrano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Miguel Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Zelvin Rosales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlow United the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Thanet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelvin Rosales to maneuver through the defense. Luis Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Avilio Villanueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Patricio Oporto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Peña was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Patricio Oporto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Peña came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marlow United's Alberto Osorio. But to his dismay, Alberto Osorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Osorio made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Mariano Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marlow United and the Thanet players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Patricio Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Osorio in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Osorio in the 70th minute of play forced Thanet's goalkeeper Patricio Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Medrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasir Del Carmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Cabrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Medrano having to make a save. Yasir Del Carmen scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Medrano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Yasir Del Carmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Medrano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Cabrera went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Alberto Osorio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Patricio Peña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlow United. Thanet's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
