Spectators: 6939 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 10) Fc Broncos's Mario Barquero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th match minute, Fc Broncos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Erazo to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match, Mario Barquero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Peña saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, Fc Broncos's Mario Barquero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Peña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 minutes Thanet's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Selvin Villatoro who took care of the corner kick. Fc Broncos's Mario Barquero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patricio Peña in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgardo Posadas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Thanet's Luis Cabrera. But to his dismay, Luis Cabrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Thanet's Zelvin Rosales got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Barquero in the 43rd minute of play forced Thanet's goalkeeper Patricio Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Posadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasir Del Carmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yasir Del Carmen made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Barquero in the 51st minute of play forced Thanet's goalkeeper Patricio Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Luis Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes, Thanet's Carmelo Pérez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgardo Posadas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thanet reached it. Thanet's Patricio Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Barquero in the 80th minute of play. Edgardo Posadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasir Del Carmen in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Pablo Carranza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Posadas skillfully saved the ball. Luis Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc Broncos's Edgardo Posadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasir Del Carmen in the 89th minute of play. When Yasir Del Carmen came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Thanet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasir Del Carmen couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
