Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Victorino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Vasquez having to interfere. Raúl Murgas scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Santamaria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Carmelo Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redruth City's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Molina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Santamaria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Jonathan Victorino made the kick off in the second half. Christian Santamaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Murgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erick Contrera hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Redruth City's Carmelo Molina got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador García got free with Erick Vasquez in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes Redruth City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sarbelio Zapata who took care of the corner kick. Sarbelio Zapata made a great header on Cleveleys's corner, it was just that Redruth City's Erick Vasquez managed to reach the ball for a save. After 70 played minutes Redruth City got a freekick which was hit by Benji Barquero. 72 minutes into the match, Redruth City's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Victorino came free, but Erick Vasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erick Vasquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Victorino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
