The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ronald Del Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Santamaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Rojas in the 13th minute of the match. Félix Rojas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Santamaria having to make a save. Salvador García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Jonathan Victorino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Felipe Carrera's Daniel Reyes. Daniel Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
