In the 7th minute, Made in Honduras's Alan Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Aguilar. Emiliano Aguilar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Emiliano Aguilar made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ricardo Viscarra sent off a good shot on target. Ovidio Guzman came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Star's Cazimir Nițisor. But to his dismay, Cazimir Nițisor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Red Star's Abraham Machado got a free kick in the 19th minute. Red Star's Emiliano Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Brito in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Huezo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Jairo Escalante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Gallegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match, Mike Tardy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano Aguilar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Made in Honduras's Mike Tardy in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Star's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th play minute Ruth Schilder came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Aguilar. 3-1. Emiliano Aguilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruth Schilder went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Red Star's Emiliano Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Viscarra in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Abraham Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Tardy struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Emiliano Aguilar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made in Honduras. In the 46th minute, Ruth Schilder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Made in Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
The wind increased when Jairo Escalante made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Made in Honduras's Ricardo Viscarra made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Gamero charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Gamero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Red Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Gamero to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Nițisor got free with Ovidio Guzman in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Red Star defense, Alan Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Aguilar. The Red Star fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Aguilar should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Mike Tardy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Aguilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Viscarra in the 69th minute of play forced Red Star's goalkeeper Emiliano Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Red Star's goal looked a bit too open when Ruth Schilder came free, but Emiliano Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Star's Claudio Gallegos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Ricardo Viscarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Red Star's goal looked a bit too open when Ruth Schilder came free, but Emiliano Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Tardy in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Red Star got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Paredes. Ruth Schilder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Aguilar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Viscarra in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Aguilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when Red Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Valenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Red Star defense, Alan Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Aguilar. The Red Star fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Aguilar should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Made in Honduras were the better team. Made in Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
