With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atletico Superacion's Eraldo Benavides suffered a sore thigh after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 24th match minute, Sopa de Caracol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Palma to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Pacheco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lv Peng Yi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Zeng Zhen Chuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Pacheco. Atletico Superacion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeng Zhen Chuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Superacion's zone, Zeng Zhen Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Pacheco came out of the goal and Zeng Zhen Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ulises Santamaria fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Superacion's protests and gave Ulises Santamaria a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sopa de Caracol FC booed when Atletico Superacion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Santamaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeng Zhen Chuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Lv Peng Yi put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Douglas Pacheco. In the 87thth minute of the game Zeng Zhen Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Superacion's Douglas Pacheco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Ulises Santamaria put in a rough tackle. Dacian Oprea placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Sopa de Caracol FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
