Adolfo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Uranga having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Jhalmar Oporto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Hugo Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C las AGUILAS's Felipe Uranga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C las AGUILAS from getting a goal against them. Cristian Arellano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldir Gomez having to make a save. Carlos Aguirrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jhalmar Oporto to make the kick off. If Marcelo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C las AGUILAS's Felipe Uranga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhalmar Oporto in the 81st minute of play. Enrique Orobio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
