Douglas Braun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Rojas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Braun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Umaña hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hildenborough's Esteban Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hildenborough from getting a goal against them. Claudio Hernández scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Braun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Arango scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Suarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Coreas in the 32nd minute of play forced Hildenborough's goalkeeper Esteban Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Najarro couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
