A collision led to Hiltingbury getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fabio Aguilar hit a great ball. Dagoberto Cerna in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Ulloa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Félix Dubon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chorley City getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alberto Villanueva hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Félix Dubon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Félix Dubon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Hiltingbury got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Escalante. 45 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Cerna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Ulloa. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Flores made a kick off. Félix Dubon struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fabio Ulloa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorley City. Manuel Escalante hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Félix Dubon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fabio Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Flores in the 65th minute of play forced Chorley City's goalkeeper Ulises Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Félix Dubon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Félix Dubon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Ulloa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorley City's goalkeeper Ulises Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dagoberto Cerna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabio Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Hiltingbury's Ricardo Flores dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Ricardo Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Salguero's late challenge caught a Hiltingbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Salguero helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chorley City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Hiltingbury's Primitivo Orellana after 95 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Chorley City's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
