After a rather tough play, Chorley City's Nicolás Villarreal got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ulises Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Chorley City got a freekick which was hit by Félix Dubon. The crowd rose to their feet as Félix Dubon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Will Medina. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Enrique Guevara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Chorley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Villarreal to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colegio San Sebastián's goalkeeper Will Medina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Félix Dubon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Medina having to interfere. If Jose Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Carballo made a kick off. Dagoberto Cerna struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Will Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorley City. Félix Dubon took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Medina. Will Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Colegio San Sebastián's zone, Dagoberto Cerna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Medina came out of the goal and Dagoberto Cerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eraldo Molina fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colegio San Sebastián's protests and gave Eraldo Molina a yellow card for diving instead. Colegio San Sebastián:s Will Medina showed great skill when he stopped Carmelo Salguero:s penalty. Will Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Dubon in the 69th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Jonathan Mayen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorley City and the Colegio San Sebastián players grew even worse after the yellow card.
