Ricardo Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Ulloa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Misael Cruz in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Edwin Castillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Ulloa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edwin Castillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Ulloa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Castillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Yate City were furious when Jorge Ulloa was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yate City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ulises Aguilar, was totally fooled by Hiltingbury's Primitivo Orellana, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Danilo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yate City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Max Mayen hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Aguilar was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Flores made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Cruz in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Aguilar saved Yate City from getting behind. Ulises Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Flores in the 76th minute of the match. Ulises Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Cruz in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Hiltingbury's goal looked a bit too open when Misael Cruz came free, but Fabio Ulloa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Danilo Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Aguilar was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
